Ethics Committee

The Directorate has appointed the services of Ethics Committee Members, who are mandated to review Research Proposals that involve all Participants of Research. They ensure that data from Researchers agree with both Local and International ethical guidelines. Once Researchers embark on a project, the Ethics Committee take up the task of doing monitoring and evaluation and if necessary, they may take part in follow-up actions at the end of the Research. The ultimate goal of the Ethics Committee is to ensure that Research meets the high ethical standards expected by the Directorate and the University in general.
