  • 11th International Applied Research Conference And Technology Fair

    INTRODUCTION

    The Directorate of Research and Innovation (DRI) has commenced work on the organization of the 11th International Applied Research Conference (IARC) and Technology Fair and wishes to bring to the attention of Main Committee Members the proposed framework for the programme.

     

    1. DATE AND DURATION

    The proposed date for the Conference is 15th – 18th June, 2021.

    The proposed schedule to this effect is outlined in a table below:

    1. PROPOSED THEMES, STREAMS AND VENUES

    The proposed theme for the Conference is “Promoting Collaborative Research in Intelligent Technologies in Ghana:  Plans, Resources, Sustainability and Growth”.

     

    In addition to the main theme, there will be six (6) sub-themes. These sub-themes represents research areas that authors will have to address to have their papers accepted for presentation at the Conference. Again, there will be expects to give keynote addresses in each sub-theme.

     

    The proposed sub-themes and the suggested keynote speakers are:

    The conference seeks to bring on board all the stakeholders in the achievement of sustainable development goals and the overall national sustainable economic and industrial growth. As a result, it will engage individuals, groups and organizations from:

    • Polytechnics
    • Other Tertiary Institutions
    • Professional Bodies/Groups
    • Industry
    • Research Institutions (e.g. CRIG, CSIR, I.E.A., CPMR, etc.)
    • Technical Institutions
    • Any other interested persons or institutions not mentioned above
    • Collaborating foreign institutions
