The core mandate of the Directorate is to ensure that high-quality standard of Research is carried out by Researchers. In view of this, the Directorate’s Research Policies and Guidelines entail the following:
- To ensure that the quality of Research is of the highest standard in collaboration with various Stakeholders.
- Individuals and Corporate entities must uphold the highest ethical standards for the conduct of Research.
- The University in collaboration with the Directorate must ensure that conducting Research work is consistent with International guidelines.
- The University should foster an environment conducive to research. In this case, facilities, funds and other resources must be allocated in order to make Research projects feasible.
